What's so good about IE6?
I still got Internet Explorer 5.0 installed. I can easily upgrade to IE6. But why should i do this?
Is my internet going faster with IE6 or does it only eat more cpu?

I've been running IE6 since it was in Beta, and haven't had any problems with it. No change in resources and it doesn't use anymore of the cpu than IE5, 5.01, or 5.5 did.

A little bit faster for us 56Kers.

My co-worker's having some very annoying problems with IE6. It won't let him type anything in any entry boxes on any web site. Also, it won't allow him to type anything in the main body of an email in Outlook Express. Very handy, eh?

Someone probally fcuked the install. It works fine for the rest of us. or it may be an incompatibility. Like IE5.5 didn't work with 98 properly to start with.

Two thumbs up for IE6!
I've been using IE6 since beta, and never had problems. If anyone does have problems with it, it has to be user error or a software conflict somewhere. One of my favorite features is the improved privacy and cookie handling.
I recently reinstalled 98se, which of course gave me 5.5, and I immediately downloaded 6.

I have WinSE installed and I downloaded the IE6 and could not open my outlook express. I had to remove the outlook express 6 program, and now everything works great

bah! I use opera 6 and love it...
To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've
wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went
to the circus, and a clown killed my dad.
