    Well you do the math.
The Canadian dollar is worth $.62 to the American dollar.
So $350 Canadian dollars is worth $220 US.

    $100 is a sweet deal.

How can his Ti200 cost $350 then?

GeForce 3 Ti 200's cost from $130-170 over here, not $220.

You sure the price didn't go down up there?

Yep, Candiens hate us so much that they are envious... I love it.

    Goto www.atic.ca, Geforce3 Ti200's range from $225-$260 Canadian. $350 seems quite outrageous.

I spend loads of time out in the USA.. Well.. Florida anyway. I always go on the trail of cheap computer components but it seems to me that they're about the same price as back in the lousy old UK. At least your alcohol and tobacco are dead cheap.. and your cars, and houses, and food... wish I could get a visa..

Yeah, it's $5.15/hr in the US for minimum wage. Things might be cheaper here. It all depends as far as government taxes go and the like. For instance, the Swiss Tax is outrageous, but you have complete free medical coverage and many others. Someone with more knowledge of the Swiss system that can help me out here as far as what else is offered?

I'm not saying I want more taxes(US), believe me I don't. I'm just saying that you have to look at more than just, oh wow it's cheaper over here in this country. You have to look at the broader view as far as the buying power of the individual within that economic system.
