Thread: disappearing cursor :(

    disappearing cursor :(

    ...anyone here had trouble with the mouse cursor in internet explorer??...I've upgraded from 5.5, tried different ps2 mice and now using a USB mouse....I don't have any trouble with it using netscape or any other program...strange huh???
    ...anyway as a last resort I may dump IE and try a new install but I realy don't want to go that far if I can help it....anyone with any other good ideas????

    According to Microsoft:

    Erratic mouse behaviour may be due to video card hardware acceleration. Lowering the hardware acceleration may correct erratic mouse pointer behaviour (such as a mouse pointer disappearing in text boxes or over text). This can be accessed under Display properties , Settings , Advanced , Troubleshooting .
