    ECS K7S5A/XP1600+

Have decided to upgrade from Gigabyte ZXR/Duron 800 to ECS K7S5A and XP 1600+. Currently have 512meg of PC133 on Gig mobo. What REAL advantage will I get in dumping PC133 and buying DDR to run on ECS mobo ? I run Windows ME, Office `97, Dreamweaver, Photoshop 6 (now and again) and SETI 24 hours a day. I am not in a side-by-side race with a P4 and not really interested in Office loading in 3.2 as opposed to 3.7seconds. Some straightforward answers appreciated

I saw an approx. 10% increase in my Sandra memory scores. Personally, I would not do it at the current prices. Not that much noticeable improvement in performance...(Using on an ECS K7S5A)
