    Converting MP3 to wav question

My son has a 4X burner now, as I asked in a previous post, he wants a faster burner....he says that he now has to download mp3's then convert to wavs....says that other units do this conversion for you, thus making the task easier....IS THIS THE FUNCTION OF THE BURNER, OR THE SOFTWARE?
Right now he is using a Lacie external drive with Adaptec EZ- SCSI card (does this make sense to anyone?).

MP3 conversion to wave is defiantly a function of the software. I always convert my MP3 to wave before burning them; I seem to make fewer coasters this way.

I told you Go with NERO, it does it for you......

Just drag n' drop MP3's in the program and click "burn"....Done

You will never regret using NERO

It is the software's job to do. Nero does it for u.

The only reason y u would want to convert them from mp3 to wav is to edit them, ie take out the gaps of silence or noise, add reverb or something like that.

Plus get yourself a burn proof cd burner. that well u will never make another coffee coasters

    bye
