Need parts to build computers for family member
EVERYBODY CAN JUST DISREGARD THIS POST SINCE IT ISN"T GOING TO WORK.
I have an aunt and uncle who I want to build two computers for, because they really can't afford one. I also want to build one for my cousin. I can't buy the parts to put together these systems because I am only 15 and I don't have a job yet. So if anybody has maybe just a box full of spare parts or even just a couple of things that they could donate, I would appreciate it very much. I would be happy to pay for shipping.
Thanks in advance.

Ok, I'll pay. But I really can't pay much.

You might try looking at www.compgeeks.com they have a lot of cheap systems.
Pentium 233, 64mb ram, 3gb drive, cd-rom $79
Lots of 300mhz to 350mhz machines for $129-160
You would have a hard time building a comparable machine for that kind of money. They usually ship a system for $17.

Ok, I see this isn't going to work..... So unless you were going to donate, you can just disregard this.

All I can say is save up.. goto comp geeks.. times are tough right now. I gave all my spare stuff to Leed.. I remember very well what it was like being 15 and barely having any money.. I wish I could help.. you could try talking to Leed to see if he has anything that he's not using from all the donations he's recieved.
You could also try talking to Madfish over at www.techIMO.com I know he collects parts and whatnot..

I don't know. I really don't feel right asking for parts, but I need some. I think Madfish is kind of suspicious of me because I was asking for alot of parts. And in case anybody is still wondering why I needed all these parts, THIS IS WHY.
