    XP WON'T SHUT DOWN

    Hi, i was just wondering if any one could help me coz i have a problem with windows xp shutting down. when i press turn off i shutsdown but then automatically restarts and i was just wondering wot it could be.

    I think it's a bug in XP. With my system I get a BSoD when the system should be shutting off or rebooting.

    well it might be something ive installed coz it used to shut down properly like direct cd update and ezcd creator; i recently installed them

    cheers, it must be direct cd then oh well ill un-install it, cheers
