    alpha and Windows 98?

I'll try to make it brief. My boss at work gave us some old computers to mess around with. They are Digital personal workstations, a series. They use 500MHZ/alpha proc and use alpha bios, ver 5.31. It also has a 2.1 scsi drive with Win NT 4.00 installed. I have NO previous experience with either Win NT or alpha processores. My question is this: How can I reformat the HD and install either windows 98 or windows ME? Is this even possible. Also, I can't get to the bios setup because it has been password protected. Is there a jumper to reset this or should I just remove the battery? I need to change the boot option to a: then c:. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
