    Defragmentation

    I am getting conflicting advice. Is it worth it, or too dangerous, to defragment an NT server? I have heard of problems arising from the attempt.

    If your using Win2000, I have never had a problem with defragging even with my 2000 server, although I do recommend you use diskeeper and not the cut down version within 2000.
