    I too am gone...this will be my last post here..its been fun but the new management seems intent on control beyond what has ever been needed here.......there is more to this but it is over...good luck Gus or whoever you are..

    this entire thread will be deleted in time no doubt but it is internet.com that has lost here....

    I started a long time ago - and because of forgetfulness I had to go for a simpler handle. old age - too much good s&x - too little vitamins

    I break stuff - Sometimes I even fix it - most times times I get my advice from the COMMUNITY -

    I looked at a lot of addresses before I logged in here.

    Don't trust this Housen or internet.com for a second!

    This is a bad man. He single-handedly ruined the forums at Hardware Central and Sharky's. The community is gone.

    Any and all posts that are slightly off-topic are deleted, you can't laugh, have friends, or even congratulate anyone for anything.

    I was a long time member and a mod at HWC when he came around and all I can tell you is whatever happens with SysOpt forums next is going to be BAD!

    I even still have a thread saved from the mods private forum at HWC where the new admins said they din't care about the members because they could alway get new ones.

    I'm warning you now.

    Unregister me as well...it's been said many times and it bears repeating. It's not about the name of the site...or a URL...it's the ppl. The community.

    I never had that many posts...I mostly just lurked and liked to read the threads. Now that most of the ppl that I knew are gone from this site, there's no point in sticking around here...

    2 years or so ago I found this site, and have found it extremely useful. I've always bragged about this site and its forums. I WAS addicted to these forums, you could not tell from my posts, as I was mostly a reader, but did post help when I could.

    I was gone for 2 weeks to get married in Canada, and I come back to a ghost town. I too will be leaving this site, never to return as you may unregister my name from this site and all internet.com sites.

    most of you probably wont remember me, but i remember sysopt. This place has gone to hell. At least anandtech.com is still around.

    i didn't think i was out of the loop for very long, but apparently it was long enough. where is sysopt.com going? and what's with the handbasket ....?

    this will be my last post at sysopt.com, as well as the last time i come here. it will be a little bit of work to change the home page on my computers here at home and at work so that they point to greener pastures, but it will be well worth it. i'm sure i'll be taking with me the friends and family that i've recommended to register with sysopt over the last few years.
