    Refresh explorer

    Is there a setting to make windows explorer to automatically refresh itself. I am having to press F5 each time to do this! Thanks

    Do you want it to refresh at regular intervals even if you're not changing pages, or just make sure it checks for a new page when you return to a page?

    For the 2nd;

    Tools>Internet Options>Settings>Check for newer version of stored pages

    This is the reg entry:

    REGEDIT4

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\contro l\Update]
    "UpdateMode"=hex:01

    You should already have the above reg key. There's conflicting info about this. If you don't think it's refreshing now, change the above in Regedit to either 0 or 1. Having it auto-refresh is a slight perf hit.
