    Odd power option problem

    I set in power options for my monitor to power down after 10 mins, its always worked before but now wont---if I set and apply it itl work till the next boot then no more---(using ME) any ideas?

    wonderful world of ME kind of a selfish name and selfish personality isn't it
    microsoft windows ME lol

    alot of the previous things worked and have a huge conflict with me version

    I have to start a terminal program evertime my sytem boots or modem answers phone ...but as fax... and thats with and without software and even removing modem from control panel

    i thought it to be modem but didn't have prob till winme, it's winme, it's always winme.


    i think we all ought to go kick Bill Gates ***!!!

    but if you go into .ini files might be way to add it in somewhere they have some sorda fixes

    Did you check the power options in BIOS? Set it to User Defined. If thats OK, recheck the power options from Control Panel.

    Is the Power Scheme set to always on in the Power Options panel that you set the time in?
