I would probably looks at Abit's IS-7 or IC-7. One is the 865PE chipset the other the 875 chipset
My P4 2.4B is on an intel board, and I am happy with it for my wife's computer, but I would like more...possibilities that Abit offer with their boards
I have an Abit NF7-S with a AMD 1700+ I love it!

Gigabyte has some good things going for it too. I love the dual Bios
Let's say you are OC'ing and put the BIOS FSB to a figure your CPU or Memory can't handle...well it won't post! with most boards Abit included..you have to manually clear the CMOS...(I have to walk around my desk and a table to do mine) dependind on your computing area, that is sometimes a pain... Gigabytes will beep at you tell you you main BIOS is not functioning properly and ask you to back it up... you say yes naturally and soon you are clicking away with your last good settings... Pretty spiffy I think! I have used this feature on my old Giggy board.. very pleasant!
I bought Abit as Gigabyte did not have their N force 2 board in the stores yet and Abit was on its 4th revision of that Chipset
Both are good in their own right ..if my Abit had dual BIOS it would be absolutely perfect.

Sorry, that above 3d mark was the wrong one.. I got ~3900, after messing around with riva tuner a little bit, I got it up to ~4200. bumped the MX440 to 279/358..might try for a little higher, since I'm getting almost new everything anyways.
EDIT: the above one was 800 x 600

Check This Link Out Guys
I stumbled across this site, and it has many, many links to every bench mark, utility and diagnostics that I have ever seen. For each tool, it has two links. One for downloading the item, and one for the site of which the item is from. For the few I downloaded, only the site link worked. BUT, I could then download the updated item from the site. This is a nice selection of programs, and I hope that some of you get some enjoyment out of it - link below- ---RH--

You may be able to bump the gpu up a little more on that 9500pro. The mem gets a little touchy after 310 or so.

I got 15,311 on mine(15,237 w/o any artifacts). Your cpu is running faster then mine, so the difference lies in the video card. I kind of think that these 3dmarks are more of a measure of video cards themn over all system performance. When you get a chance, go to:
http://www.pcpitstop.com
Run their system tests(it does it online, or you can create an account and save results). Let me know what you get on that one.

Just a little more tweaking
9800 Pro at "performance settings", no oc
3200 xp
k7n2 ilsr
fsb @ 205, all other bios auto settings at performance
with 2 sticks corsair 3200c2pt xms 512 meg each (not matched):
2001se: 17,618
with one stick: 17,854
with bios at 210: 18,310.
Been running seti command line for 2 days stable, no artifacts or crashes during games.
FYI for 3 days last week the airconditioning was out in my office, average temp was 90+ f. With three case fans and the stock cpu fan, was crashing and locking up every hour. Air has been back on last 5 days. Not one problem. Who says AMD's are not temp sensitive??
