Remember my post about 21504? Tojo, you can't have the best system without spending oodles and oodles on components and cooling hardware. Sir, have you gone a little bit mad? Eh? And when will you get the AS3 FCOL?

Tojo strikes me as a fellow that will not be second in line. No offense, tojo.

I'm using a Prometeia from Chip Com Con Prometia
I should have my new Swiftech MCW50-t 80w pelt and waterblock combo for my 9700 in a day or 2 and then I should get some decent scores out of this pig. The best I can get out of the card now is 371/317. I am looking into attaching pelts for every ram (8 of them 15mmx15mm) but then I will have to make a custom waterblock for the card kind of like the one that was made for the 4600. It looks like an L and clamps the card between the 2 blocks. That and the volt mod would get me near the 19000 range I would guess. Still not up with the Pentiums but close.

ahh, yes.. the faithfull Prometeia... i will be buying the "Topless" version once they hit australian shelves......
I actually am building a vapochill based computer, which the GF4 Ti4600 is peltiered... you really need more than the average waterblock to cool the peltier down .. i only get ice on the rear of the card when the computer is turned off!!... otherwise, it is below room temp (the back of the card).... i may have to spray some waterproofing on the back, so they if i can get it cooler, it wont short out....
and with the ram... i think that design is great.. i just wish that you could buy the kit for it!!

I know what a pain in the [*-deleted word-*]. I can get the Pelts $13.00 a piece, sealing the card isn't that big of a deal, but making the [*-deleted word-*] waterblock, I just don't have time for it and I don't want to go buy a expensive lathe/mill that I can't justify because I won't use it but maybe 2 times a year.

Not too shabby for KT266
But it is reaching the ceiling. There is not much left in this hardware.

I squeaked a little more out of it. Just turned up the GPU a little.
