    Children's computer case

I have a four year old granddaughter who wants her own computer to play games and I have enough parts to build one but I'd like to get a cute case (i.e. Barbie or Cinderella something like that) and a matching monitor if possible but the case is the most important. TIA

lemme give u a very valuable advice. DO NOT build a system for the 4 yr old kid.

If they have a sedentary nature, force them to be more outgoing. Children will become fat and have problems with their social life later on if they start to live mainly indoor lives starting at such VERY young times.

Make her or JUST let her go out in the sun and rain and enjoy a regular life as a healthy kid.

I was thinking more along the lines of a Sony Playstation.
I just got my brand new 8086XT! They threw in a 13" CGA monitor free!!

A couple years ago Redstone did a custom Barbie system for his granddaughter. Pink paint job & decals. Did the monitor as well. Looked really good in the pics, but the web page is gone now.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Thanks guys but my granddaughter has dancing classes on Saturday, craft class on Wednesday, goes fishing w/ her dad on the weekends and has two large(German Shorthairs) dogs , a chicken(chuckie) and frogs and fish and a backyard with a slide and swings and a clubhouse. She plays her Arthur and Blue's clues games rarely but when she does she messes up my daughters computer that she uses for business. She goes to pre kindergarten everyday from 8 am to 3 pm. Thanks for the advice but raising kids is something that I've done, a 23 year old and a thirty one year old. But thanks just the same. Sorry but I need buying advice not life lessons.

    Cases

Well, they are a little expensive, but I find the Doggie, Kittie, and Penguin particularly cute.. for little kids, of course.
    (I really like the pooch...)

    dddave and thekinofpain:

I just ordered the "Romeo Max" case from them. Looks like it's a sweet case at $89 including a 350W AMD approved PSU. What's even better than that is they only charged me $17 shipping by USPS--to Japan. Newegg charged me $2 more than that for an OEM video card!

But now I'm worried...I mistakenly read the User Comments and overall rating for www.colorcase.com (singular) at Resellerratings before I placed my order. I then read the User Comments for www.colorcases.com (the correct website), and found some of the comments to be kinda fishy. It seems to me that the positive ones look a bit similar, but the negative ones...boy, they're bad!

Not that I can't accept the fact that some people just have bad experiences with even the best resellers, but go read the comments from the supposed "owner" of Colorcases.com. He can't even spell the word "do" correctly!! That part worries me the most. Not that I get too paranoid about this type of thing, but you add it all up and something doesn't smell right to me.

So, seeing as I'm sure you'll both recieve your orders well before I do, I'd appreciate it if you let me know how your order goes with them. On here, by PM or email would be fine by me!

    Thanks.
