I can remember years ago when my cousins would come over, one time I had new game XCOM : UFO Defense, played WHOLE weekend, stopped for sleep and food, I got up at 5:30 just so I could play before the rest of them and my brother, ah I miss those days, careless weekends, no homework, ahh...

Same thing with Privateer, one of us reading manual, one playing, 2 messin around, 30 mins later, switch, all day, 6am - 2am or so.

Wish I could go back 5 years or so.

Only game I could remember playing long was FFIII on Super Nintendo (US version). I believe I played it for 14 hours. One of the greatest if not the greatest RPG. Final Fantasy in my opinion has never lived up to that game. FFVII was good, but I guess it was my first FF game (FFIII) and you remember your first one.

    Final Fantasy VII
I became addicted to that game! I played it for 4 days nonstop. (It was christmas vacation so I could) Sometimes I skipped meals, I just couldn't put it down! The timer went up to 99:99, and I played it about twice that much!

    Contra Code...

up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B + A + select + start.

That worked on **** near 50% of NES games =)

    C64:
    Battle of Antietam
    Lode Runner (made killer levels)
    Air Support
    Blue Max
    Seven Cities of Gold

    Amiga:
    Silent Service II awesome
Empire (hours.. took forever to build stuff, and even longer to move it to where you needed it!)
    Sim City

    PC:
    SimCity2000
    NHL 2000
Age of Rifles (Wargame Const. Set III)
    Tie Fighter
    Imperialism (evil time consuming game)
Air Warrior - was a game on AOL, you fly against at least 40 people... bombers, fighters, etc.. awesome game despite the not-so-refined graphics and AOL disconnection troubles. It became too popular, and the began charging for it.

    Boardgame:

Axis and Allies by far the game I have played for the longest stretch, in college. There's something about all the plastic figures, chips, and money that the computer version can't quite capture (although it's fun, especially online!).
Several times we would start after dinner on Friday, play til 2 am, sleep for a while, start again satruday at 10 or 11 am , break for lunch and dinner, play til 2am, sleep, and sunday finish up around dinnertime (if someone hadn't wiped everybody out by then.). Of course, we also sometimes modified the rules that only world conquest would do, so you you and your ally/partner defeated the enemy, you then battle for supremacy of the world.

Yes, those were ideed the days! hahahaha
Was a pain doing homework afterword though.. pulling all nighters after gaming all night.. ouch.

I must admit I was completely addicted to a MUD (www.strangemud.net) for a while.. Started playing at 8am and didn't stop till it was dark out. Lots of fun
