I heard it was so buggy that it is considered beta.............and there might be a class action lawsuit filed against the publisher.

Well, I jointly run a trek gaming site/bb network, and if there's one thing I can tell you its this: 99% of the 'bugs' come from old vid/sound card drivers! The only legit prob out there (that hasn't been fixed that is) is the clash with the i810 chipset.

I know I got booted to windows once, but it was due to me playing the game before rebooting after install... a foolish mistake.

There is a bug with using resolutions higher than 640X480 that has been repeatable by a lot of people. It leaves a little spec on the screen that appears in your scanner window and keeps you from finishing a mission. The system thinks you still have to destroy something when your done. I had this one and had to use the kobayashimaru to get past that mission.

Prospero, yes I had that problem with the fourth federation mission, but I thought I was just not doing something!
