    Athlon 1.4GHZ

    Hey guys im just doin a little researching today and i was curious if any of yall know if the Abit KT7A board supports the 1.4 Athlon processor. Ive been looking and could not find any conclusive answers to the question. The reason i ask is cause i plan on purchasing that processor in the near future and i haer the KT7A is a very decent board. If you guys have any other suggestions as to a better board or whatever i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

    Most boards will support it with bios updates I'll bet. I assume the chip is not 14*100 though, that would be stupid. I don't know though, I haven't looked into it.

    It would have to be running at 133*10.5=1400, it should be able to support it.

    It will, my 1.33 runs at 1.6 on a KT7A
    If yer buying a 1.4 and plan to OC it at all get one with the AYHJA code if ya can...
