    For a completely different way to find stuff on the Web, check out Simpli.com.

    I'd tell you how much better a search engine it is, but as I work there, that might be construed as a conflict of interest :-}.

    Improves search by figuring out what it is you are looking for and building an expanded advanced query to multiple engines.

    If nothing else, it's fun to play with the intentions it comes up with for various terms!

    If I don't find what I'm looking for at www.infind.com , I go to www.infoseek.com .
    I'm going to check out some of the others listed in these replies.

    Well, I hate to say this, but I'm a google kinda guy. I've seen some good things written above about hotbot, may try that soon, but I have www.google.com as my start page when I load IE.

    Seeing the suggestions here I tried Google - not impressed - and Hotbot - not too bad. Already tried most of the rest.

    None match Copernic.
