    Question favorite search engines

    I use www.centrapoint.com as my search engine as it is a meta search site but Im always open to new discoveries. What do you use?

    -Finds what you want from multiple engines.

    www.google.com

    -Great engine, and NO COMMERCIALISM.

    Great for small specific searches. Though you'll want to pick up OptOut to get rid of the "spywear".

    absolutely THE best if you have to do research. That's how I found sysopt.com soooo long ago. Organizes your results into folders making it easier to get specific results from a broad search

    What? no one uses AJ?? I know it's kind of "novice-ish" but it does a quick search on broad topics.

    For stuff where I know specifically what to ask for: Altavista.

    For uhm non-standard searches I use astalavista. Sorry, no link; I don't know if I could get away with it.
