Happy, Happy ! I'll second the trip to the bank but I differ. Get about $375.00 US and buy one St.Gaudens $20 Gold coin. Mint State 60-63. Beautiful history for this most historic age. Save for yourself First, a conserverative figure is 10%. I'm 47, started buying(at 25) 10% of net salary in stock. After 8 yrs, sold stocks to pay for a bunch of cool stuff. Have left now four years salry in liquid net assets. The key is a repeated donation to the personal coffers. I've lost half of some stock values over a 30 yr investment, but reaped much more, patience is the key... For your work, if I may drivel a bit more, a quote from a hated supervisor "Gentlemen, If the thought of coming out here to go to work in the morning makes you sick to your stomach, then you ought to find other employment" How true. We must enjoy life DrVette

    Cool

    Happy Birthday JOEL!!!

I second the advice of DrVette! Save and invest now...by the time you're 50 or so you can retire to Capri or ****-near anywhere else you want to!

    Best wishes...

Well, my finger is slowly doing better. If it weren't for having a mom whose an RN, I might've had to have stitches (small blessings ). As it is, I've got it patched up, and I'm even doing some typing with it. I figure my typing rate will get back to normal in a day or two.

Thanks again for all your support. There's no need to worry about me not being safe - I don't drink, nor do I have the sudden desire now that I legally can. To me, 21 is no different than 20, except I might be able to work cheaper car insurance.

I'm certainly in no hurry to "grow up." Life is good. Why fight it?

BTW, you're right - I will remember today. Had my car mp3 player presentation for Senior Project, cut this finger, and asked out the best girl I've ever met. (too bad she said no... what she doesn't know is my perserverance. )

Take care all and have a great week.
