Wonder if we'll be right here two years from now?

This is great. You'd think peoplez would run out of ways to describe their midnight hamster experiments, but we still come up with fresh ideas.

    Very cool!

My dad keeps pigeons, but I am not sure if I could one of them into my socket A.

Sure my speed would "fly" tho...

    Sorry...

Hamsters are so yesterday. I'm saving to replace my current unit with a specially bred and genetically tweaked mongoose, whose stride speeds can only be measured in picoseconds. If he doesnt perform to my requirements immediately, I'll bring in a cobra in a glass case and set him at eye level across the room.

one word for you all.... ferrets,

now i understand they need a special wheel for there unusualy lengthy body but hey i rubbed the battery across his testies (which i was told NOT to do on the hampster modle) and got an outstanding 1320 tillaflops per second, now that is progress

p.s. anyone remember the original topic of this?

yeah, I read quite a few pages before posting. It just started as a surf-by rip on overclocking, and turned into uh.. well I guess it's like an episode of Animaniacs or Itchy & Scratchy =)

I think the ferret will toast the hamster. Using 3D Drainpipe 2002, in a totally controlled experiment. I put the hamster up the drainpipe first followed by the ferret. Now, as only the ferret came out the other end, i can't post a benchmark for the hampster. I think it suffered thermal blowout. Obviously no cash in the pipeline.

maybe the ferret ate the hampster... you should increase ferret food input so that he wont eat the other experiments

I got a hold of some old burnt out (or well, almost burnt out) hampsters and coupled seven of their wheels together and now i have a dashing system
they all are running quite well, the only prob is that they smell so bad...
Well, anyone know how to do a de-smellifier for these things? Sound is not a problem, only a little bit of scratching from time to time, but almost never anything annoying...

depends on how well you cool it...heat is the enemy in overclocking...

With all the advancments in hamster and ferret speed it a ppears that the storage can't keep up with the wheel until now acording to this artical: http://discuss.pcmag.com/n/main.asp?...start&msg=6086 . It covers the exciting new field of insect computer storage!

I just joined this site and I must say, it is really sad that this post has been going on for two years now! Oh well, it is pretty funny though.
