    Unhappy Goodbye to two gentlemen

Good grief !!!! What a bad day. Charles Schultz and Tom Landry both gone.

Now maybe Charles Schultz in the person of Charlie Brown will finally get to kick the football - with Tom Landry holding it.

May they both rest in peace.

I put the goodbye message from Charles in my daughters memory box for this year. She loves the Charley Brown christmas movie and is too young at this time to explain what happened.

Hopefully Charles got to kick the football tonight.

With the passing of Charles Schulz, I feel as if I've lost a bunch of old friends at one time.
Snoopy, Charlie, Linus, Sally, Lucy, Schroeder, PigPen, Woodstock,...
    All gone.

Seems strange that he would die the exact same day that his final cartoon is published.

Yep..It brought tears to my eyes when reading the comic's this morning after hearing of his passing. My daughter came over and asked what was wrong...I had a hard time explaining to her that I grew up reading "peanuts" and will miss it dearly. Hopefully Charles finally realized how much he impacted peoples lives over the years with his "drawings" (as he called them)
