Restored Windows and it still freezes up with no apps loaded. Sounds like it must be Hardware. Looking for ideas on what can be run from outside windows that could test some hardware. I've got a UBCD5 CD, but that that hasn't been updated in years so not sure if it would help. Any ideas of software to try? Otherwise, I can run to Microcenter and get 16 Gig of memory on sale for $30 as a starting point.

After restoring Windows and no apps loaded, it kept happening. Looking like a hardware issue now. I dropped it off at Microcenter since I don?t have any spare hardware to swap with. Almost hoping it?s the motherboard since I have a two year extended warranty on it.

Well that's a shame.
I love Microcenter. They were two miles away when I lived in Dallas.... Let us know how it goes.

Yeah, I've been buying my stuff there for many, many years.
Funny thing, I'm not getting emails when someone responds. No big thing, will just have to watch closely.

The site's email thing has been broken for over a year... BUT, it's on a list to be fixed
