i lost my comman for hybernation of windows 10.
isnt it in windows powershell as administator?
    powercfg /h -type /restricted
and /full to change to full

or: where to look if windowsupdate had set it back. or wouldnt it be done?

    powercfg settings

i couldnt find type and restricted there.
    here it is:
    https://superuser.com/questions/7462...f-hiberfil-sys
On Windows 11 to set half the size, use powercfg /h /type reduced and powercfg /h /type full for normal size.
where to check if it had been reset to full?

was switching between the two powercfg option above.
now switched to powercfg /h /type full from reduced.
ultrabook seems not going down. or i err. its going only will not shut down completely which i would like to be done.

Run the following two commands at an elevated CMD prompt, pressing [Enter] after each:

    powercfg.exe /hibernate off

    shutdown /s /t 0 /f

BTW that character between the "/t" and "/f" is a Zero, not an "O"h.

    /s = shutdown (use /r for reboot)
/t = time (of Zero "0" seconds to wait)
    /f = force

To see more shutdown options, type:

    shutdown /?

    and press [Enter]

Change the "0" (Zero) to whatever number of seconds you want it to wait before shutting it down.

Use "shutdown /?" (without the double-quotes) to see more available options.
