Fan-equipped M.2 NVMe SSD bootable stick-enclosure avaiable?
I have a clone-station with not only thermal pads but also fan
(ICY BOX IB-2912MCL-C31) for M.2-NVMe SSD. But its not bootable
can be opened without tool.
Sata-version hasnt thermal pad:for M.2 Sata SSD
NB: DELOCK 42600 is a bootable enclosure but without FAN. M.2 NVMe SSD
I have a nobootable one with thermal pad. Delock 42000 for same as above
Is there a single M.2 -NVMe SSD-Enclosure with thermal pad AND Fan?
This one has Thermal Pad + Fan But seems nonbootable

Orico has a container taking bot Sata and NVMe-SSD-Sticks
have thermal-pad enclosure already. it seems nothing else available with fan except cloning stations. quickly opened.
from last link:
Es kann auch als externes USB-Laufwerk von Windows to Go / MacOS bootfähig arbeiten.

Means i can forget booting my actual Win10s from SSD-stick? If i know i need not test- simply making backup of system and clone drive. i can of emergeny first try to recover system, if fails recover drive.
Sata-NVMe universal like orico has
around 60 euro
i see that seem the solution since bootable-bootfähigt but also windows to go- win10?
Don't understand the question but, FWIW, here's Microsoft's Windows-to-Go Feature Overview: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...to-go-overview
Acer spin1-111 has built in 64gb-ssd. 4/64.
if that drive fails booting and i dont want to risk anything and not repairing the drive, can i install a bootable Windows 10s on an SSD-MVMe-stick?
Has that something to do with windows to go? Thanks a lot
It would be easier to clone the original, test the clone to be sur it boots okay, then store it in a safe place.
yes of course cloning built-in drive. but can i boot from the clone externally? windows to go?
will also backup the system obviously. and first recover this in emergency.
NB: Forum was offline early this day right?
Normal Windows does not allow installing to an external drive. Windows-to-Go does.
Solution of Windows 10-installation on stick since cloned drive will not boot.
Can't read it myself but, if it works for you, great!
