PRINT to PDF should work... You just tell it to ONLY print page two etc AND you can print it to PDF.
"Vegetarians live up to nine years longer than the rest of us...Nine horrible, worthless, baconless years."

print command will save as file right? printing is no problem with pdf-x-viewer. i need to extract from one file single pages to files.
pdf x-viewer editor or similar paid-version maybe best.
I cannot easily switch between this one and adobe reader on xp. once i told which one is associated. I need pdf- x-viewer as main pdf-program since it has a typewriter.
Thanks

Load/View the PDF file in Google Chrome.
Press [Ctrl][P] to print,
Select "Save as PDF",
In "Pages", select "Custom",
Now tell it which page you want to print to a PDF file.
For example, if you only want page 3, type in a "3" (without the quotes) then click "Print".
Or, if you want pages 3 through 6, type "3-6" (without the quotes) then click "Print".
Next, Chrome will ask you what filename you want to give the file so, do so and follow the onscreen instructions.
Etc., etc., etc., until you have all of the pages printed to separate .PDF files.

hope it will work with winxp.otherwise will do it on ultrabook win 10s.
Has nothing to do with my task above but want to inform anyway
NB: seems to work the same way how difficult websites can be printed out. in a html to fax-program producing pdfs or similar. dont remember anymore maybe i must only check it out.
Microsoft xps document writer? i think its called differently. must sit in a different drive.

.PDF and .XPS files are two entirely different animals.

Open PDFs in Chrome
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click More. Settings.
At the bottom, click Advanced.
Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings.
Near the bottom, click PDF documents.
Turn off Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome.
dont find in old chrome 27 for winxp.
I have dataprotection-inhalteinstellungen(content-settings) nothing pdf there.

SOLVED. Chrome-solution
I could open pdf in chrome and print single pages to pdf. so easy. Thanks a lot.
is there a "SOLVED"-Button?
-
You're welcome.
I don't believe there is a "Solved" button on this site. Maybe Steve knows?

Solved is good but not locking. There could always be news about a problem even years afterwards. i hate forums which are locking per se. and i dont like people which are criticyzing then if one is adding news after that long time.
There are forums which are banning. But this could be selfdestructive-if one could add an important facts but is locked out. Their mistake but bad for the readers. As you may have found out i am mostly going to the ground if problems occur. Reason: Next time with the same issue may be near. so i know quite exactly where to search.... in sysopt! Endless thanks to the moderators and helpers.
