Problem with getting back off laptop off
We have a hp notebook - 15-bw036nr and I’m trying to upgrade the memory. Found the hidden screws but the back of the laptop still won’t come off. Any ideas?
Thanks,
K

Start at about the 1:55 mark where he starts to remove the CD/DVD drive:

(Hope that's the right one?)

dont overrotate the screws when closing body. otherwise they will stay and if thread-body is not firmly mounted with solid glue it will turn endlessly in the body when trying to open again. only force on cover will help and destroy other screws. true for my acer spin 1-111. body is solid-bendable magnesium-alloy.

Hi sorry for the delayed response. Work week calls and I don’t get back to things till weekend.
Spy, thanks for the video but the back side is not the same. Once I remove the battery and screws including the ones under the rubber feet the backing doesn’t come off easy. I have trouble all the way around. The hinges don’t appear to have another screw hidden.
Will attach pics of back side.
