1Gb/s Internet very slow. winxp Desktop-pc and win10s-netbook used
I didnt measure speed with speedtest on my old winxp-sse-processor pc with winxp-on cable. have also an SSE2 with winxp and win7 but its not reactivated now. see my ultralong capacitor plague thread mid-june 2018
But have netbook acer spin 111 4/64. win10s/edge.
Since i have got a big speed-drop on dec 24-morning i examined speed. i knew with palemoon/newmoon there were sometimes speed and script-problem let alone my sick mainboard(capacitor plague and small HDD.
But internet speed is also down on my WLAN-driven Netbook. identically slow. around 25Mbps versus 1000 needed. i can speedup a but by changing to 80.80.80.80- 80.80.81.81
but not significantly.
network is showing 1Gb/s is coming in.
provider is looking into it. reset here didnt work. and they cannot ping my router icotera i6806. new since 2 years.
i cannot login. logged i could interrupt wlan. old router: knob outside box.
NB: will get speedy i7 laptop in less than 2 weeks.

could it be that my signal is "censoured" slowed down artificially from outside with no influence of the provider since i am using outdated OS(Winxp) and browsers(Palemoon/Newmoon SSE, KMeleon and Firefox 45 ESR nightly)? Others using healthy pcs telling its running with no deep problems. SSE2-processor pc can run other versions.

eventually i have a wrong cable. its not 1Gb/s.
https://community.swisscom.ch/t5/Arc...nt/td-p/399696
will now remove cable from router and check WLAN on netbook. maybe it was split.
IN internetexplorer something was wrong with network, not working when testing.

can login to adminconsole from both winxp-sse-desktop and netbook win10s.
its now up to the provider to decide if router-reset to factory settings is next.
speed test showing terribly slow internet. 20 versus 1000Mbps. will get 1GBit/s cable today.
how can i find out where the problem is?
-
will examine all services. in 5packets. after adjusting all of them: no more internet access. in other words if adjusted in 5pcs-pakets its easier to find out which one is blocking.
i think the gigants are beginning to censour and slowing down winxp-users.

WLAN-Wifi-Thief?
Could be most likely WIFI-Thief, right?
Have Icotera i6800.
WAN is connected with Netbook
WIFI with Phablet.
maybe disabling the two and check LAN(cable) on winxp-desktop.
