Unable to get laptop to revert from "Airplane Mode to Wi-Fi
Hello- I am unable to get my Dell Latitude E6450S to disengage from "Airplane Mode" to regular Wi-Fi. It automatically goes into this mode at startup. I cannot turn it off in the settings interface, nor can I turn on the wi-fi mode, as it turns itself off automatically, back to the airplane mode setting. Dell does not provide any tech support as the computer is out of warranty. Any suggestions on how to override this? Thanks for any help!!

Airplane mode disables cellular signals. You can still connect to WiFi and use any app or service on your phone that can be conducted through WiFi. Note that on some devices, enabling airplane mode also disables WiFi. You can re-enable WiFi after enabling airplane mode though. Cellular signals will still be blocked of course, (no cellphone calls etc.), but WiFi will be working so you can connect to an in-flight, or any other WiFi network. Some devices also allow you to enable Bluetooth when airplane mode is enabled.
