Using winxp-desktop-backgroundimage on win7
Despite a lot of google-hits i could not find the right folder where one must move the winxp-desktop-background-image to use in win7. The findings were not true.
Thanks a lot.

Yes they are there
For windows XP, wallpaper files are located in C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper. I have dug them out and used them in Win 7
C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper
You can also check c:\documents and settings/user name\App data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer.

have found the file. its bmp on winxp. do i have to ćonvert to jpg, sinće there they are jpgs?
in the additionally mentioned internet explorer folder i only see quićk-launćh-folder and applićations.

I believe I did convert to .jpg
Well, the internet explorer would have only the last one that you R-clicked , a picture on the internet, and selected set as backgound.

Changing the image is making me upset
Have saved my jpg-image(ćonverted from bmp) from winxp in wallpaper-folder.
during that proćedure all of a sudden desktop(blue was ćhanging to offićial MS-image(the sign).
when trying to ćhange to my image in landsćape-folder i dont find a list of images to ćhoose from but one spećial image(ćanion-strućture) is displayed. i am giving up for today.
yes i have found an instrućtion how to do.
update
Have found the trigger. all images were ćhećked(why?) to be ćhanged every 30 min.
had to rename(maybe) sinće the others were also named imgn.jpg n=figure.
