pagefile defrag-winxp not working

pagedefrag cannot defrag my pagefile. defraggler still showing 4 parts. 12gb of 34gb left. maybe enlarging winxp-systempartition?

i also tried manual swapfiledefrag at shutdown.
what does clearpagefile do at shutdown ?

I wouldn't worry about it.... But the clear pagefile should do just that and clear the page file.

If you really want to....You can disable the pagefile on C drive....and create another on another drive...

Reboot
Defrag C dive
Set the page back to C drive.

did remove pagefile for defraggler and setup again. could get it from 4 pieces to 3 pieces only. there are still some orphans which avoid having a complete pagefile. have 16g free 20gb used for winxp from 36gb in total.
i could add a second drive but only on second slower sata-slot. second fast slot is used for esata-external connection.
