    Google links redirected

    I am working on a Windows XP SP3 computer using either IE8 or Firefox (latest version) and all is well except when I Google for a site using the Google search engine, the returned links always redirect to another site, mostly livesearchnow or some other. I have scanned with AVG Free, Malwarebytes, Spybot S & D, Superantispyware, etc. and none of these seem to fix the problem. I have also used a number of utilities (WinsockXPfix, TDsskiller, RogueKiller, etc.) that are supposed to eliminate this problem but do not. I am using the wrong tool.

    I have worked for hours on this and still no solution. HELP please!
