    no sond

    Hi there any ideas on why i have no sound i have just 2 small speakers realtech software onboard sound when i play music all the signs are there ie eqalizer is working but sound is dead windows 7

    Were the speakers working before? did you try a set of headphones? did you check the cable and connection? are you sure that it is not on mute?

    done all the so i think must be motherboard probs

    Did you check the Realtek software to make sure it is using the proper ports? Some boards have front audio ports as well.

    Verify your default output device is analog speaker output. It could be set to one of the digital outputs (S/PIDF comes to mind). You can do this by right clicking your volume control and clicking on "playback devices." From there right click the output device and set as the default output device.
