    Driver Download Site

    Hi all,

Does anyone have a link to a good free driver download site. Google is full of these hateful fake sites that try to get you to down driver detective or other such ****.

    Thanks,

    Michael

Try the maker of the computer, under support and if that is a custom or home built rig, then the mobo makers website, again under support.

I don't know of any truly legit unified driver site. You need to go to the manufacturer's website for each component to be sure you get the latest official drivers.

Thanks for the replies. My problem is that it is an old intel based dial up modem and I cannot find a download ling for the drivers. I find the drivers but keep getting driver detective or some such other when I download.

Had a look at the intel site and the chipset is not referenced. The branded manufacturer is long gone as far as I can tell.

Post the make and model of that modem.

If it is a intel should find it at.

But take this into consideration. and find the modem chipset manufacturer.

    Thanks Train,

Computer is gone back out without a modem driver. I have been told now that it's not needed.

Not many dial up modems needed any more.
Done that myself a few times.
