    External Drive hooked up to 3 pcs? usb, esata, firewire

    My WD-Mybookhome-external drive has usb 3.0, firewire and esata.
    There are TWO firewire connectors but only ONE for esata and usb.
    Can i use the drive connected to three pcs using only one combination at a time?

    Using a switchbox instead. But why then two firewire-connectors? for two pcs?

    But why then two firewire-connectors?
    That is a new one on me. I have no idea unless folks have been damaging one real quickly and they got tired of the RMA business.
