    Question about USB wireless keyboards

Hey all. I plan on formatting here soon, but forgot that the right half of my keyboard stopped functioning a couple months back. Thus I have no way of hitting the DEL and F12 keys during the procedures.

I'm trying to buy a keyboard now. Now my current keyboard is a wired USB style one, with volume keys on the top right. I'm scouring the internet triyng to find a plain black keyboard with just volume keys on it, but want to buy in wireless style this time around.

My question is: do wireless USB keyboards not function until Windows loads? I know USB wired keyboards work even before Windows loads, I just want to be sure the wireless keyboard can function soon as I turn the PC on (because I have to access the BIOS).

Hope that made sense. Thanks guys!

USB is USB.... So yes - you should be able to access the BIOS with a wireless board.

I have a Logitech diNovo Edge. It works as well as a wired keyboard accessing the BIOS or doing other tasks before an OS is loaded.
