I manually configured 2 computers with the DNS settings, both running XP, and both worked. Both are being blocked from certain sites. I then configured a Vista machine, V.4 TCP/IP setting, it saved the DNS settings, but no sites were blocked. It's still surfing free as a bird.

    I followed these instructions exactly:

    https://store.opendns.com/setup/oper.../windows-vista

We flushed the DNS, reset the IP, and cleared the cookies and cache.

Ironically, this is the main one that needs to be blocked. Any ideas?

    Cool

Why? Should it not be? I think we tested it with it unchecked, but I'm not sure. It was a long day.

    Try with IPv6 unchecked.

I don't see your router listed, but it should be pretty similar to the other D-Links.

BTW, Did you update the firmware on the router?

I changed the DNS settings yesterday, and they are still not changed in the router in the status section. But they are saved in the setup section of the router where Open DNS tells you to input them. Isn't that weird?
I just reread that. Did you restart the router after making the changes?

Didn't update the firmware. I'll see if there's an update. I'll also try your other suggestions. Thanks.

    another vote for OpenDNS

it's the easiest thing every, and you can add any missing address to your list of subscribed blockings, as well as create white list for sites falsely blocked
