Hey All. Long time no see!
Need your assistance. Looking to upgrade from a shared rtmp server/hosting to dedicated. Been looking around and looks like my best choice is from softlayer.com.
Any opinions on this company? I do know there is talk the oversell their bandwidth, but seems to be just rumors.
About the server itself, want to install WOWZA, running a flash based P2P communication application.
Thinking about dual 2.0 core, 2 gig memory, minimal storage (don't need much).
Problem is the OS and the manager. Obviously will need a Linux system, PHP, MYSQL, but am having a hard time matching what OS to what manager, plesk or cpanel.
So second question is what combination works best together? debian, red hat, ubuntu, plesk and cpanel?
