    Mini Dump

    Hi.
I have this problem and hope someone can help me finding its cause.
    PC specs : P4 3.4 Pentium D
    2GB DDR2 -667 ( 1GB Elixir + 1GB Super Talent )
    Asrock G31 ( W7 ready )
    HDD Seagate 320 etc ...
    Palit 9400 GT 1GB
    OS : Windows 7

Random blue screens occured, I checked the Rams , HDD using the UBCD. No errors.
Also a fresh install didnt solve the issue.
I'll upload the mini Dump file and I hope if someone can lead me to the problem.
    Thanks in advance.

You should probably post the contents of the file here. Getting people to download your zip file will be tough...

Those mini-dumps may as well be in Chinese. They are really hard to parse.

Since the problem happens after a clean install too, you should assume that it's a hardware problem. When did the problem start? Did you make any hardware changes at all before this started? Include any added peripherals.

It could be a heat problem. Make sure that all fans are working.

Check for bad capacitors as well:

You're a better man then I am if you get into and learn how to read dump files. The following is borrowed from another site:

    1. Download and install the Debugging Tools from Microsoft: 32-bit - v 6.8.4.0* - 64-bit (if you are not sure if you need 32 or 64 bit, you most likely will need 32 bit). * Later versions are not compatible
    2. Download, extract the EXE from the ZIP file and run the tool (debugwiz.exe) located at the bottom of this post. (Note: When running on Windows Vista, right-click the debugwiz.exe, and choose Run as administrator from the menu)
    3. Select a dump using the tool and 'generate log'. (Note: You should be connected to the Internet while debugging.)
    4. Open the file c:\debuglog.txt in notepad
    5. Cut and paste the data to your thread, if you are starting a new thread, please include DUMP DATA in your title.

Note: Unfortunately our program will not work properly with Vista 64-bit.

Your program crash dump is probably located in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\user.dmp

    Blue Screens:
The dump file will be c:\MEMORY.DMP or (for Mini-dumps) in C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\

If you do not have a dump, ensure that your machine is configured to write out a dump by following the directions from microsoft

If you are unable to find a dump file at any of the locations given above search your drive for *.dmp files.

Download debugwiz.zip (Please note that the EXE file has been digitally signed by WinShareSoft)

    Hi Steve and Bill
    Thanks for your reply.
This happened after installing the new Palit VGA. I tried 2 others new VGAs also, but still same problem.. The Asrock MB is brand new. Im gonna try downloading the W7 nvidia drivers and replace the one used by windows .

This is the Dumpfile info below, looks like you may have some memory issues or possible driver conflicts in your system, id have to agree with a possible hardware issue.

An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an

caused by drivers that have corrupted the system pool. Run the driver

Sorry for being late in posting back.
I thank U CruzyCrusher for the analysis.
I downloaded and installed the latest drivers from Nvidia Website and replaced the ones W7 provided. So far, the system is running perfectly.
I'll post again in case a problem occurs.
    Thanks everyone for your time.
