    Ghost & Windows 7

I'm trying to make an image of my W7 Pro 32bit system. Ghost makes the image but it's not bootable. I have done this thousands of times with XP and not one problem.

Is there an problem with Ghost and W7 that I'm not aware of or something?

    Suggestions or ideas?

    Thanks guys!

Are you using Ghost 15? Older versions won't work right with the Win7 boot loader.

I had to get Acronis TIHome 2010 to make Win7 images.

Using version 14 which won't work. I was told to try Echo from Acronis, that it worked fine with W7.

May give your suggestion a try...

    Thank Mid!

Echo was the workstation/server version of Acronis TI. I think they renamed them for 2010. Unless you need it for servers, it's cheaper to get TI Home 2010.

Of course, you could try the built-in backup in Win7.
