Event ID 129 Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort2, was issued.
Has anyone ever came accross this in event viewer? I did a google on it and found some information but none as to how to fix it, it seems to flooding in my event viewer and have disconnected my CD as it was kicking out a load of errors, they seem to have cleared up, over the past week or so my comp has been acting funny, random shut down etc, I have ran WD HDD tool and found no problems, Memory and CPU passed all tests I ran, i do not have a raid setup on my computer. Anyone have any idea? I have attached a screen shot

nope Something is up with my computer though, after posting that lastnight the thing locked up pretty bad I had to shut it down, drain then power and boot back up. seems to be more consistent now. I figured it was from the bad CD DVD Rom drive I had, I did remove that and the errors still clock in EV. Temps on the processor are normal running about 35c memory pretty low every thing has been sent back to stock speeds as of two weeks ago.
Im running win 7 64Bit specs are my sig

Ye I reset the BIOS last night, didn't check for anything raid though which I can do later, what do you think about a bad PSU? my friend suggested it and it may be considering I had few issues not to long ago when I added a sound card didn't disable the onboard audio when I did turn it off the computer started working fine.

One other thing the Nforce drivers are known to cause these kind of error's in event viewer also, but in vista completely unistalling and reinstalling can fix the problem in vista
