    Wink annoying hp printer popups

    I frequently received these annoying popups,I keep pressing cancel or closing the popups but it returns, I ve made a screen capture of the said popups.Can anyone suggest a tip to get rid of this. thank you.

    What happens when you pop in the HP cd its looking for?

    When cd is inserted in drive this popup does not seem to be able to find the D Drive for the instalation, it reverts back to the "network resource is unavailable.I think theres a registry screwup somewheres.

    Download and install the windows installer cleanup utility. Run it and select the hp product giving you issues and click remove.

    By gosh I think that neat little program worked, no popups so far. I ve restarted the pc and also it went in sleep mode a few time since and no alert popups.(windows installer cleanup utility) seems to have done the job. thank you "the lodge"

    It usually does help and I was going to suggest it, but The Lodge, beat me to it.
    You must, however, be very careful in it's use.

    Just another suggestion for the future: HP is known for its "Bloatware" on peripheral devices, like printers. Most of this installs automatically with their install CD. It is often more efficient to go to HP website and download their Basic Driver Package for any new piece of equipment rather than the full package. Just take a note about how many megs you'll save!
