    Red face anti virus

    this is-personal anti virus-it popped up as advertisement and won't go away-tried to delete it but says file in use-how do i get it off-keeps saying i have virus but ran scan and there are none-it is in taskbar also-even tried backup recovery-but still there-thanks

    What do you mean by a backup recovery? If you mean Windows System Restore, that's not a backup recovery.

    What antivirus and antispyware are you using now?

    Start with Malwarebytes, SuperAntispyware, and Avira. Links to those apps are in the AV/Antispy link in my signature.

    It's a fake antivirus. Malwarebytes and Superantispyware should fix it.
