    Wifi connecting twice?

    Hi all

From time to time, though with more frequency lately, my network connection (wifi) has started to connect a second time, so it says "<SSID> Access: Local and Internet" and "<SSID2> Access: Local and Internet" (Where SSID is my SSID obviously) and then nothing works until I disconnected and reconnect.

I'm on Vista but other than that I guess my specs are irrelevant - is this something that jumps to mind as familiar to anyone?

    Regards,
    Matt
    Eh?

Are you enabling SSID broadcast or not? What encryption are you using? Did you try a different channel? Are there other wifi networks in your area? Did you update your router firmware?

Make/Model of the router may help.

Take a look at the Power Saving of the Wireless card if it set to save power after short period of time it might disconnect and need to be reconnected.
