ThinkPad R51 Network Controller
My Thinkpad R51- Network Controller Driver doesn't work. I went on the Lenovo website for drivers and downloaded their driver. I can get the LAN internet connection but I CANNOT get my wireless connection to work....HELP!!!

The LAN and Wifi drivers are different sets. Did you get both of them?
Is the Wifi card installed properly in device manager?
Did you check if there is a switch to enable/disable the wifi card? Most laptops have some kind of switch or key combination to disable wifi on the fly.

That's true most have some type of on/off switch but not this one

If there's no dedicated switch, there is usually a key combo like FN+F10 or something.

There should be an icon on the Function Key that looks like a radio tower with radio waves on both sides of the top.
Are you SURE there isn't a switch?
