    Windows 7 (Beta) screen Issue

I know its beta and I understand I can run into problems, anyway, I have windows 7 installed every thing works like a charm, I installed Windows 7 on one of my 250 GB drives, Nvidia drivers downloaded via windows update (worked fine) but the res seems some what off, I have about 1 1/2 inch of black space on the right hand side of my 22 inch LCD screen, I cant adjust it anymore than it allready is, it is now at %100 to the right, my left I dont see the start bar etc, is this a known issue? When i run my windows Vista every thing fits grand. I would normally run 1680X1050 when i do I have more of a gap on the right, I have tried the recommended settings at 1920X1080 still the same.

    ...is this a known issue?
...and we come right back to what should be obvious. How can it be a known issue if the software is Beta? After all, you may be the first to see this issue. That makes it your responsibility to report it to MS. That is how Beta works.

The nVidia drivers are Beta too - by definition. This is a "double whammy". You can't expect too much.

All of that having been said, be sure that the refresh rate is set to 60Hz first. Next, use the "Auto" button on your monitor as needed.

Indeed indeed,,,I did the Auto adjust and set the refresh rate to 60. I tried manual adjust and the screen is as far left as it can go.

That's exactly the type of thing you should report to MS. You are a beta tester after all.

I got it fixed, I didnt notice Nvidia had put new drivers out for Vista 64 181.22, so I downloaded them and installed them for Vista, I figured ah I'll see if they work with Windows 7, they installed without any problems at all for me but may very from user. this corrected my resolution issue and all looks fantastic now.

Just wait for the effin RC's
    Most people think,
Great God will come from the skies,
    Take away everything
    And make everybody feel high.
But if you know what life is worth,
You will look for yours on earth:
And now you see the light,
You stand up for your rights. jah!

I see you did allot of research to post that eh . as you can see from my post before this, I got it fixed. Why wait for an RC to fix your problem when you can more than likely find the answer your self when its some thing as simple as a resolution problem?
