JM, how long after that was the sugar reading?

Bananas are very high in sugars, I can have one small one or half a regular one daily. Cream and milk are high in sugars too, lactose ( milk sugar ) I don't have but one glass a day, for my breakfast.

If my sugars are over 180 2 hours after a meal, that's high. I'm usually around 120-140 2 hours after eating.

This is my meter, connects with a USB cable to the computer for easy tracking

The two meters on this page are reading from different scales

We use mmol/L (Millimoles per Litre) here in €uroland ........
To convert mmol/l of glucose to mg/dl, multiply by 18.
To convert mg/dl of glucose to mmol/l, divide by 18 or multiply by 0.055.

Fortunately my pancreas hasn't packed up yet........ Give it time

Usb cable in ya meter huh ....... Now thats a clever idea .........

Mine stays between 4 & bout 7 by itself ....... No matter how much cake I throw at it

Mine does both but Doc likes me to use the mg/dl measurement, so I do. I have a range that I'm supposed to be in depending on whether it's my morning test ( after fasting all night ) or 2 hours after eating my evening meal.

Yeah, the USB cable and software are nice, I can make all my settings on the computer and sync the meter with it. There's all kinds of graphs to show how bad I've been sugar wise, when I took my meds, weight, a1c readings, HDL, LDL, Trigs, blood pressure and loads more. Next it'll just come up and say I'm dead

Nah, he is being a spelling nazi. JM spelled banana wrong and I copied his work. Tis what I get for copying off a dumbacre.

    LOL

Funny thing is... I thought it was "bananna" at first... Then I googled it to make sure so I wouldn't look like a "doh!"...
