My plan for my new system.

Alright kiddies, been doing a lot of reading of reviews and massive ammounts of homework to find my best price to performance ratio for my new system build. Tell me anything i might have overlooked or if you see anything i could have done differently. Im building this on a somewhat budget and im splurging on one or two items. I wanted to have the best cooling possible as well.

LOL. Normally i just get dumbfounded at people upgrading all the time, but not in yur case. If its what ya want then good luck.

I would suggest looking into the case i have now. The Antec Nine Hundred is an awwsome case and IMO better then that 'Lang Li', esp. the cooling part. It has two 120 MM fans blowing air int the front through the HD cages, and another in the rear for output. It aslo has an awesome 200 MM fan blowing down the top side. ( a place for yet another in side window but not provided. ( open mesh vent though ) it is a well built case, looks great, has two USB plus audio on top,and the PSU is on the bottom for install. One of the super features is the HD cages remove for easy install, and one could put six or seven HD's in that case easyif desired.

Good choice on CPU. If i build again in another six monthsor so, i am going to get one of those two CPU's and porvided platform also me thinks.

I can't comment on the coolers nor the memory or other because i think thats a personal choice and those parts look fine to me.

Nothing wrong with AMD but i agree. If performanc is better overall then what the heck. That CPU is going of like $179.00 at NewEgg. and thats a bargain

The Lian Li is a classic, but they make the common mistake of putting USB ports near the floor. You may want to consider a case that has them where God intended - up top.

The only thing I would change would be to a Dual Layer DVD Burner
from Sony or LiteOn .. they are dirt cheap nowadays.

Well im changing a few things. I think for a while until the prices drop more on some of the newer Intel Quads, im going to stick with my AMD processor and get either a 790FX or 790GX motherboard. Get 2 more gigs of the ram i have now and throw it all into a CoolerMaster CM-690 Case and call it a day. I can then start building my intel rig after christmas which is only 5 days after my birthday, so i should have some extra cash lying around.
