Waddup ???? I left cable early this year, but whats up.
Most people think,
Great God will come from the skies,
Take away everything
And make everybody feel high.
But if you know what life is worth,
You will look for yours on earth:
And now you see the light,
You stand up for your rights. jah!

Just wondering, as Tv signals & Broadband comes down the same bitta coax does the modem & STB work out which bit of the signal each box wants, or is there some kind of additional filtering ?
How does the modem know what speed to operate at & how does the STB know what channels the subscriber has chosen ?
Oh & what is the device called that prevents televisions from adding noise to the network ? lil plug in filter thingumi ...... & where does it go ? (Before or after the splitter)

Your tv signals and broadband are at different frequencies.
Both your modem and set top box have files down loaded to them to allow for various programming and bandwidth.

It's streamed. Wot's happened to our lad in Watford of lately?
During deep sleep IT came to me and the future of processing is clear.
Future processors will primarily be digital tuning radios acting as grid computing nodes.
Voila. See ya in hell. PROCESSING
